Black+Decker partners with Midea to launch Cleaning products

Leading home products brand, BLACK+DECKER has entered into a brand licensing partnership with the leading consumer appliance manufacturer, Midea to develop and launch a new range of indoor corded vacuums to complement its existing cordless cleaning products. BLACK+DECKER’s new range of corded vacuums will include a combination of upright, stick, canister, and wet/dry products.


These new products provide consumers with the trust and credibility associated with the BLACK+DECKER name coupled with Midea’s specialized corded vacuum manufacturing capabilities.


BLACK+DECKER has been a preeminent brand in the home and consumer DIY sector for over 100 years. A true innovator in the home cleaning category, the brand revolutionized cleaning by introducing DustBuster®, the first-ever handheld cordless vacuum, to the marketplace in 1979, and has continued to launch a wide assortment of new products for use in and around the home. These products complement Black + Decker’s existing licensed products program, which includes small appliances, garden tools, automotive products etc.
